This Road King Custom features an 88 cubic inch / 1450cc fuel injected engine, 5-spd transmission and belt final drive. The "Custom" consists of streamlined hard leather saddlebags, a wide "Beach" Style handlebar, slightly lower rear suspension, chromed alloy wheels, and the Street Glide style tank emblems. This beautiful bike has a H-D quick release backrest, Vance & Hines Exhaust, H-D skulled floorboards among other H-D skulled accessories. It is sitting on rubber that is very close to new. This bike is a dozen years old so I have pointed out a few small flaws in the pictures so please take the time to check it out. When in Rome for Harley’s 110th
Mon, 03 Jun 2013In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.
Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
