As long as ive known this bike it has had a rebuilt title. ive owned it for 2 years(switched title last year from FLA-NY), previous owner had it for 4 years. we used the same harley mechanic.this is a daily rider, the mileage will increase. invested 14k in setting this bike up right. i know i will take a loss. forced to sell (wifes med bill$). this bike is near perfect. the only think it needs is a front fender trim. the old one cracked and i havent found anything like enough to replace it. it also needs the oil gauge on the fairing to be replaced (extremely common). it stopped working in june, i havent replaced it yet

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
