Harley-Davidson Touring description

For sale is a 2002 FLHRC-I Harley Davidson Road King Classic with upgraded 95" (1550 cc) engine by Red Hill Motorcycle Werx. (Original engine was 88"). This is an incredibly sexy, rare, pearl white Harley Davidson bike with tons of chrome.

The pictures do not do it justice Miles: 40,000 total on bike and 15,000 miles on 95" upgrades shown below. She has been meticulously maintained by myself and the previous owner and all engine upgrades completed by Rocky Mountain Harley Davidson outside of Denver Colorado. It is always on a battery tender and always covered, garaged. No dents, dings, drops, accidents, etc. This bike is in beautiful condition and she does not show much if any of her age. She is extremely strong running and reliable with no mechanical issues of any kind.

There are no, leaks or drips, she produces lots of power and sounds amazing with the Vance & Hines 2 into 2 headers , Bubs Slip On's with the 95 and the Cams. Also I have Dyno sheets. She comes with the sissy pad (quick release, rider pad (quick release), luggage rack (quick release) .

There is far in excess of over $8,000 worth of upgrades on this bike--yes I added some of the receipts. The bike was purchased stock in 2004 with 4,500 miles on it and since that time upgrades have been ongoing with many being completed in the past 2 years since I have owned the bike. She receives Oil changes every 3000 miles and I use Mobil for V-twins. Red Line trans Fluid, all Fluids just changed.

2002 was a great year and she is a rare Pearl White color. I welcome any inspection. I accept CASH or Bank Wire only. No Cashier's checks, Bank checks or Monkey Business!....I dont need help selling and no Trades of any kind! $500.00 is due immediately and remaining funds due via Bank wire or cash within 5 business days. Clean Title in hand with Tags paid until July 2017

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.

Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl.  He’s amazingly talented and very driven.  Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson.  The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
