1980 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic with a factory installed matching Sidecar. Special order color from the factory that year. (1979 Paint Scheme) Two owner motorcycle, I've owned the motocycle 32 years, very well maintained, low original miles, tour pack, chrome air scoop, leather dash strip, point conversion, new gel battery and starter soleniod recently, brake cylinders and calipers rebuilt recently, new kick stand, two chrome fender lights, side car cover, many new chrome covers, oil cooler, S&S Super B carburator, top end set up with valve seals and a 3 angle valve job, belongs to an ex Harley Davidson mechanic, runs well, super nice motorcycle. Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
H-D Confirms Road Glide Dump
Fri, 26 Jul 2013In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.
