Really nice 1973 Electra glide shovelhead . Bike has just been completely gone through by a 30 year factory trained certified Harley mechanic who specializes in old Shovelheads and pan heads. This bike has new tires. Brand new complete wireing harness from front to rear . All switches , lights ect. Work as they should . New LaRosa spring alligator print solo seat with matching suction cup pea pad seat . New 2 inch drag pipes with low restriction baffles. Nice 19 inch apes . Original hard saddle bags with new keyed locks and hardeware . This bike is an awesome old school shovelhead and runs great ! There are no issues with this bike and it is a real head turner ! I have taken this bike on two 150 mile poker runs since it's complete check over and work done and it is a joy to ride ! You will have a hard time finding a better old school Bar Hopper shovelhead . The only thing this bike needs is a set of passenger foot pegs if you want to ride two up . This bike is worth my reserve ! ask questions and I will answer anything you need to know . Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
2014 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic Recalled
Tue, 08 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
