You are bidding on a one of a kind Custom 2009 Street Glide with a seven year extended warranty and a custom "Quick-Release" Ultra Tour Pac with hidden Fat Baggers hardware all in ghost flames blue/purple flip by a nationally acclaimed award winning paint John Wargo from the Custom Shop see www.customshop.org. It has ABS brakes with custom Harley rotors and chrome calipers, custom Accutronix extended controls, Biketronics stereo with all new speakers and three amps, a custom front and rear suspension from Proggressive with an air compressor in the right saddle bag and rocker switch to adjust ride height from 9" to 13" while riding. There are few Harley parts on this I had it totally redone before it was even started or delivered to me and it is my fourth custom and I know what I am doing and am good friends with Eddie Trotta and have seen the best. Screaming Eagle 113, Baker Seven Speed Transmission, Fat Baggers sheet metal and wheels etc, Air Dagger air shocks with compressor for 11" to 13" ride height for a slammed look when the tour pac is off or the Ultra ride at 13" the Street Glide is standard with 12". Custom everything Radio sound system, you name it. The heads were done by branch the diamond cut fins by Diamond Heads in NV, there is a dock included for the quick remove Tour Pac, custom bottoms on the saddle bags as well as rear fender, it has a shift lite and Dakota gear indicator, shift light, custom brakes, rotors, suspension etc.

I sold it last year on Ebay and took it for one more short ride and told the guy I could not part with it. I have only ridden it one more time because I have other bikes and do not ride for than fifty to a hundred miles and my girlfriend will not ride so it is time to sell it.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
