Thanks for checking out this incredible 13 Sportster Custom with only 4K careful miles. This beautiful bike has near perfect cosmetics and runs great. I have sold hundreds of Sportsters but I've never had one that runs like this one. Although I can't document it I would quess this bike has high compression pistons. It would be hard to imagine a stock bike running this strong. The paint on this machine is a cool combination of Candy Orange and Beer Bottle. It looks great in the sunlight and is free of dings, dents, or scratches. The prior owner installed a high flow breather and a throatty set of Vance & Hines pipes. This bike runs and drives as good as it looks and a fresh service and rear tire where just done. The 1200cc motor has incredible power and the tranny is silkey smooth. This beautiful Sporty needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy the ride. Local buyers just add tax and tag and you can ride out. No additional doc or dealer fees. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico

Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
