2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob Gets Styling Updates And H-D1 Factory Customization

For 2013 Harley’s Dyna Street Bob gets updated styling treatments that further promote the production-level bobber’s no-nonsense image. In addition to the restyling, the Street Bob joins the 1200 Custom as one of two bikes available for Harley’s web-based customization program known as H-D1. “Our focus for the Street Bob is always on street appeal,” Harley-Davidson’s Styling Manager Tony Pink said in a release.

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week

In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
