Harley-Davidson Sportster description

As you can see in the pictures this bike is very clean it has been kept indoors all its life. It drives and rides like a brand new bike as it has under 400 miles (381 as I type this ad). Why pay 8500+ at the dealership when you can get this in like new condition! I am the second owner, I purchased this bike to do some minor cosmetic repairs after it was dropped at a very low speed in a parking lot. The bike received very minor damage and since everything has been repaired with new parts. There are still some scuffs on the transmission cover as you can see in the pictures. As you can see in the last picture I wrapped the exhaust in black ceramic wrap to give it the all black look! If you prefer the look of chrome exhaust I can remove the ceramic wrap for you and put the chrome exhaust shield back on.

The title is clean no liens or anything like that. I can deliver up to a 3 hour round trip however I will require a deposit before I drive anywhere. Payment must be made in cash at the time of pickup. I will not ship, if you want to take it on a test ride I must have the full amount of cash in my hand and or course if any amount of damage occurs while you are riding the bike is yours. If you have any questions let me know.

On Sep-25-13 at 06:58:03 PDT, seller added the following information:

Just to clarify on a few things, I will deliver for the price of gas I am not trying to make money delivering the bike to you but I also don't want to lose money. Also I would prefer not to I am just offering this option if you do not have an option for picking it up. Also someone asked why I purchased the bike and didn't ride it, I got this bike from a friend who needed the money. He didn't have the money to fix the minor repairs it needed so I bought it to repair the minor scratches and resell.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
