2009 Harley-davidson Sportster on 2040-motos
Harley-Davidson Sportster tech info
Harley-Davidson Sportster description
Nearly immaculate 2009 HD 1200 Custom with 7214 cruising miles. Never dropped. Garaged during season, and off-season stored in a climate controlled facility. Vance and Hines short shots--this bike is LOUD, for those who hold to the truth that loud bikes save lives. Sounds absolutely awesome when accelerating. Stage I air intake. Whip installed for easy battery maintenance. New tires end of last summer, so they probably have 400 miles on them. Newly serviced--always at a Harley dealership--with fresh oil change. There is a small chip out of the paint on the engine, which can be noted in one of the photos. This is a real steal for a great low-mileage bike with new tires, new tune-up, fresh oil. Just get on and ride. I would gladly keep this bike, but upkeep and insurance are prohibitive on an extra bike, and it needs to be ridden. I recently bought a three-wheeler. Included is an aftermarket uninstalled sissy bar AND a cover which was used part of one season.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
