2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster Low XL1200L, There are only two features on this bike that differ from its factory set up. The first is a set of forward foot controls with Kuryakyn custom front foot pegs. The second is an engine guard that I hope that you will never have the occasion to use (except to mount highway pegs). There is a good reason that this model is called LOW . The riders seat sits just 26.3 inches above the tarmac. This is the 1200 (the smaller motor is an 883cc) model. It has standard fuel injection and a 4.5 gallon fuel tank. There is plenty of room for two and it will cruise smoothly thanks to its rubber mounted V-twin motor which also offers great fuel economy at freeway speeds. Antiques Roadshow Visits Sturgis Motorcycle Museum

In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2013 Sales Results

The news caps off an important quarter for Harley-Davidson that included the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations and the launch of its 2014 lineup including the new Twin-Cooled engines and Project Rushmore enhancements.
Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?
Tue, 18 Aug 2009Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more. Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.
