2007 HD XL50 Sportster Limited Edition. 1 of 2000 produced (523/2000). Runs and rides perfectly. It has over $1,000 in extras including quick detachable windshield, large tank, exhaust pipes, front cruiser pegs, O ring pegs, back rest, lay-down license plate. It has chrome chain guard, sprocket cover brake and shift pedal. One tooth down on counter sprocket. Original seat still in box. 50th anniversary emblems that have never been installed. Air Hawk seat cover. All original parts go with it. (See pictures) Phone Jim at 406-439-5529. All checks must clear before title and bike are released (prefer wire transfer). The two companies are among the top 100 brands in the world, as ranked by brand consultancy firm Interbrand. Apple is #2 on Interbrand’s rankings for top brands of 2012 with a brand value of $76.57 billion, while Harley-Davidson is ranked 96th overall with a value of $3.86 billion.
Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
