Harley-Davidson Sportster description

This was the wife's Sporty.  It was purchased brand new from the dealership in Rocklin, California in 2002.  This nice bike has many features:
Screaming Eagle II Performance kit
Hard saddle bags
Windscreen
Buckhorn Handlebars
Passing Lamps
3500 original miles
One owner
Older style front fender with flying skull ornament that the eyes light up.
Custom Harley turn signal lights.
Lighted Skull rear lights mounted on the bags
Custom foot pegs
Skull adorned levers
Contoured luggage rack on the rear fender.

It was ridden lightly a few times per year.  She decided she no longer needed me and no longer needed the bike.  She moved to Germany and started a new life there without me so now I have to sell it so I can pay to ship all her junk to Germany.

Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping details, arrangements and charges or fees.
Potential buyers are highly encouraged to inspect this motorcycle either in person or through their own agent prior to bidding.
It is up to the potential buyer to make any and all arrangement for and pay the cost of the services of an agent to inspect the motorcycle.
Please contact me at least one day prior to arriving for inspection.

Reserve price is around 5K

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.

2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
