Harley-Davidson Softail description

This auction is for a 2006 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe Motorcycle. This Bike is powered by a fuel injected 1450cc Engine, and has a 5 Speed Transmission. It runs PERFECT, and shifts through every gear nice and smooth as can be. As you can see from the pics this bike isn't hurting for chrome AT ALL. It has a few VERY MINOR scratches and/or blemishes here and there (the worst is just a few dimples/scratching on the plastic surrounding the ignition switch). This bike is VERY SHARP, and I know 100% that winning bidder is gonna LOVE IT! The tires are GREAT, it has only 21k on the odometer, and I have a CLEAR title in hand. This will be a NO RESERVE AUCTION!! If you have zero or a very low feedback score please contact us BEFORE bidding!

I took very large pictures of this item to show the very best look at condition as possible so please pay close attention to them. If you find that the pics appear too large on your screen just CLICK HERE to view the smaller set. The pictures will load up full size, then shrink. Just click on the bottom of the picture to view.

Anyone interested in purchasing this item is MORE THAN WELCOME , and ENCOURAGED to come check it out in person BEFORE BIDDING as all sales are final, and the bike is being sold AS IS. Winning bidder will be expected to pay a $300.00 Non-refundable deposit at auctions end (this is payable through Paypal). We prefer the rest of monies to be paid in cash at or before actual date of pickup. Any other payment method will require TOTAL clearance of funds before this item is actually picked up. Buyer is responsible for picking up this item and for any associated sales tax, and or titling fee's.

If you have any questions at all, or in case I missed anything please DON'T HESITATE to call us at 815-842-3321 and ask for Derek, or Jeff. We'll be happy to help you out any way we can. Thanks for looking, and GOOD LUCK!

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
