2012 Harley-Davidson Softail DELUXE. Custom built prior to purchase by local dealer with all modifications warranted. Ride Wright wheels, 21 front, 16 rear, with matching rotors and pulley. Burly brand 14 apes with 1.5 risers. Shotgun air shocks. Woods 777 cam, air kit, ported heads, Samson true dual exhaust, big city thunder baffles. Other extras...chrome front end, chrome hand controls, grips, braided cables, footpegs, dash cover, visor bezels, laydown license plate bracket, highway bar/pegs, LePera bare bones seat with passenger pillion. Also have LePera 2-up touring seat and HD sissy bar/backrest. Many other chrome parts and covers not mentioned. All original stock parts have been stored and will go with the bike. Build sheet from local Harley dealer and dyno chart available upon request. This bike was purchased new a year ago and has been meticulously maintained and garaged. 2014 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob Receives Dark Custom Makeover
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob is returning for 2014 with a new blacked-out look as the latest model to get H-D’s Dark Custom look. The new, darker Fat Bob features a number of blacked-out components including the powertrain and air cleaner cover, rear shock covers, triple clamps, headlight trim, console and battery box cover. The machined aluminum slotted disc wheels have also been received a black powdercoated finish as well as a laser-ingraved Harley-Davidson logo and rim stripe.
Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500
Mon, 04 Nov 2013The Street 750 and Street 500 from Harley-Davidson represent the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years. Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.
