Harley-Davidson Softail description

2011 Harley Softail Deluxe. Don't have time to ride it. Been kept in garage since I bought it new. Never been wrecked or laid down. This bike is in mint condition. I added a larger passenger seat, driver backrest and passenger backrest. It has 3087 miles on it. The color is Merlot Sun-glo. This is a deep purple color that sparkles in the sun. This is a gorgeous bike. It has Rush pipes on it and sounds great. Buyer must place a non-refundable $500 deposit within 2 days of close of listing. I will accept Pay-Pal for the deposit only. The remainder of the balance due when the bike is picked up and must be paid by cash cashier's check unless other arrangements have been made. I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time due to the fact the bike is for sale locally.

He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
