Harley-Davidson Softail description

I am selling a 2009 Harley Davidson Night Train with 13,570 miles. The Engine has basically been upgraded to a 103ci from a 96ci. New diamond cut heads, pistons, cams etc. It dyno'd at 102hp and 112ft lbs torque. This work was performed at approximately 6000 miles. I had the wheels custom made from billet. The rotors and rear pulley match the wheels and are billet as well. The seat is REAL alligator skin. The exhaust on it is Vance and Hines 2 into 1 Big Radius. The air cleaner is a HD Screaming Eagle brand with a K&N air filter. I had the factory lower legs replaced with HD Chrome Lower Legs (Very hard to find for this model). The tires are Avon Cobra's and only have about 500mi on them. The brake pads were replaced with the last service which was done at the local Harley shop as all of the other work has. The front and rear pegs as well as gas cap are chrome alligators from Image Motorcycle Products. The grips have alligator print in the rubber. All Lenses have been changed to clear with the bulbs being changed to match legal requirements. The mirrors are Kuryaken. I have all original parts except for the front rim, grips, and mirrors. These items can be included in the selling price. I have all receipts for work performed. I have approximately $30,000.00 in this bike and you can get it for quite a bit less! I assure you that you will love this bike. It is fast, comfortable, and a real head turner! I have this bike for sale locally so the auction can be ended at any time. Happy Bidding!

AMA Ice Racing Grand Championship Adds Ice Moto Competition

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

If you’ve been paying attention around here, you’ll know that we love ice racing here on Motorcycle.com. Editors Troy Siahaan and Tom Roderick got a first-hand taste of ice racing last winter, and we got a real kick out of seeing racers Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees taking Harley-Davidson Street 750s onto ice during the Winter X Games. That’s why we’re looking forward to the American Motorcyclist Association Ice Racing Grand Championships, Feb.
