Harley-Davidson Softail description

Up for auction is a beautiful 2005 Harley-Davidson Softail Nightrain FXSTBI (fuel-injected twin cam 88 with 5-speed) motorcycle. I am the second owner of this Harley-Davidson and have owned it for the past three years. The original owner is from this area and did the unusual paint job in flat black. This motorcycle is in great condition. It has only 11,601 miles on it and counting. The bike is painted in a custom flat black, hand pinstripe design on tank & rear fender. The bike comes with the chrome risers pictured in the first few outdoor shots and not the black risers. This bike has always been garaged and the drivetrain is in original condition. The only modifications are cosmetic. It has never been laid down, raced, misused, or abused in any way. This motorcycle has always been properly stored (i.e. no stale fuel) and started on a regular basis. The oil has been changed on a regular basis. There is a new battery installed. I am the only person (50 something) who has ridden this motorcycle since taking delivery. The modifications are listed. This bike is loud.

1. All 4 foot pegs (with heal pads) are Kuryakyn ISO as is the shifter and large sized brake pedal.

2. Performance Machine Renthal hand grips (2 new unused grip wraps included).

3. Tank and fear fender are hand pinstriped.

4. K&N RK series air intake (5-10 additional horsepower) recently installed.

5. Custom H-D front wheel.

6. Quick detach chrome anchors for windshield and backrest/cargo tray.

7. Taillight flashes under braking and rear turn signals are incorporated into the taillight.

7. Pirelli Night Dragon tires with less than 400 miles on them. These are great tires. For reviews go to http://www.hdforums.com/forum/wheels-tires-and-brakes/759266-pirelli-night-dragons-review.html

7. Additional custom items to be listed following the sale of this bike include; Arlen Ness solo saddle handmade by Danny Gray, quick detach rear backrest/cargo rack (crinkle coat black to match the engine/trans cover), quick detach 2003 anniversary windshield, black 7" risers. If bidder is interested in any of these items contact me pricing.

There are no liens on this motorcycle. I am the sole owner and hold a clear title. Please note that this vehicle is being sold as-is without warranties of any kind. It is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time and for any reason. Please see my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and best of luck to you.

***** This motorcycle is located in Salina, Kansas. The winning bidder is responsible for making all shipping arrangements including payment of fees if he or she is unable to pick up the bike in person. The shipping company will have to come directly to my home or contact me to make other arraignments to pick up the motorcycle. I cannot crate this motorcycle. The bike can only be shipped to the winning bidder's confirmed Paypal address within the United States. There is no international shipping. *****

Please note that a $1000 deposit is required via Paypal (no Paypal eChecks) within 48 hours of auction close. The winning bidder's Paypal account must be both confirmed and U.S. verified. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of auction close and must be paid via Paypal or cashier's check certified by a U.S. bank.
