Harley-Davidson Softail description

Local Trade In

We just traded this Fat Boy in from the second owner who purchased it when it was a one year old 500 mile bike. He wasn't a frequent rider has the mileage proves. Most of the time the bike was setting in his garage. The previous owner added a quick release windshield, quick release back rest, detachable leather bags, Harley Davidson chrome bolt covers on the engine, Harley Davidson chrome passenger foot board covers plus a rear fender guard. There are probably a few more items that I am over looking. The tires are good front and rear, the engine runs right and the 5 speed transmission is smooth shifting. Now is the time to get out and ride. Enjoy the weather and open road. A motorcycle opens up a whole new world. New friends, new adventures and turns everyday driving into a pleasure. 2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
