2003 Harley-Davidson Softail Deuce FXSTD, 2003 was Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary. The vast majority of the Harleys made that year were either Black/Silver, Gunmetal (blue), or Vivid Black. A few were produced in Luxury Rich Red Pearl and even fewer in White Pearl. This 2003 FXSTD which is now offered for sale by Latus Harley Davidson/Triumph is one of the latter. The exhaust system on this bike was upgraded to a very attractive looking and much better sounding custom unit. The air filter is now a high flow device. My favorite upgrade is the installation of a set of chrome drag bars. Chromed controls, chromed hand levers custom hand grips and custom mirrors now reside on these bars. The foot controls, which are extended, are also upgraded units. The saddle is stock but the passenger now has the benefit of a padded mini back rest. An oil temperature gauge completes the functional additions. Our Service Department just completed a full 15,000 mile service on this 2003 Deuce so it is now ready for its next owner. Fri, 24 Jan 2014Las Vegas Harley-Davidson broke ground yesterday on a full-line Harley-Davidson dealership on the famed Las Vegas Strip. A custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle celebrating the state’s 150th anniversary was revealed as part of the event, along with details on how one lucky rider will win it at the store’s grand opening. Harley-Davidson owners from around the city flocked to the site as Las Vegas Harley-Davidson President Don Andress and Vice President Timothy Cashman discussed the new location and, along with Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval, unveiled a custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle.
Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics Team Up Again for Iron Man 3
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics are teaming up once more for another cross-promotional promotion, this time in support of the upcoming film “Iron Man 3“. Harley-Davidson had previously worked with Marvel for last year’s “The Avengers” and before that, with 2011′s “Captain America: The First Avenger“. For the third installment of the Iron Man series starring Robert Downey Jr., Harley-Davidson and Marvel announced the “Iron Man 3 – Man & Machine” contest.
