VERY CLEAN AND A RARE FIND FOR A 1992 HERITAGE. THE MOTOR RUNS GREAT AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD. THE BIKE LOOKS VERY ORIGINAL WITH SOME NICE AFTERMARKET PIPES AND SOME CHROME ACCESSORIES. THERE ARE A COUPLE CHIPS IN THE PAINT, BUT VERY MINOR, (SHOWN IN PICS). THIS BIKE IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION FOR THE YEAR. THE BIKE WAS TRADED IN ON A NEW HARLEY. IT HAS A NEW REAR TIRE AND THE FRONT TIRE IS GOOD. THE BIKE DOES HAVE OIL LEAK AT BASE OF CYLINDER WHICH IS VERY COMMON . The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

Harley-Davidson had previously worked with Marvel for last year’s “The Avengers” and before that, with 2011′s “Captain America: The First Avenger“. For the third installment of the Iron Man series starring Robert Downey Jr., Harley-Davidson and Marvel announced the “Iron Man 3 – Man & Machine” contest.
