For sale is a 1999 HD Springer Softail.  This bike has 4522 original miles and is in perfect condition.  Chrome, chrome, chrome.  Custom two tone flame paint job, Heartland wide tire kit with removable passenger seat/back rest.  Bike has been in California it's entire life, absolutely no rust.  No trades, no tire kickers, serious buyers only.  Shipping is the responsibility of buyer.  

Terms of Sale: As above, winning bidder MUST make $500 eBay deposit within 24 hours or risk a no-sale default.

Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end, international bidders have 7 banking days. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person or bank certified funds to seller.  I will not release the motorcycle until all funds have cleared.  If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. All non-paying high bidders will risk a no payment default, will be reported to eBay, and negative feedback will be posted.

I reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. Harley-Davidson will reveal its Street line of motorcycles to the US market at the X Games today with an ice racing exhibition. While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?

2010 Harley-Davidson Edition F-150 Revealed

Unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show this week, the 2010 Harley-Davidson Ford F-150 is officially the first Harley-Davidson edition truck to be constructed from the award-winning 2009 F-150 chassis. This niche market co-branding exercise marks the 14th Harley-Davidson edition of an F-Series truck dating back to 2000. The collaboration between these two companies has produced eight F-150 models, as well as six Super Duty F-250, F-350, and in 2009, the first Harley-Davidson F-450 edition truck.

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
