Harley-Davidson Softail description

1998 Harley-Davidson Softail CUSTOM FXSTC, Selling my 1998 HD FXSTC Softail Custom. The bike is extremely custom and is an absolute head turner. It has been HAND painted to the 2013 HD specs with a flaked candy red, and comes with the following customizations: -Custom front and rear rims -Black HD LED Headlight -Black Vance&Hines Short-Shots -Aftermarket LED brake light with integrated turn signals -HD Drag Bars -Custom Paint -HD Black Diamond Gas Caps -Both a HD Solo seat and a padded seat The bike was previously owned by a mechanic and salesman at Doc's HD in Kirkwood, so it has been well maintained. It has a 1340 EVO engine, and the Wide Glide front end offers more of a rake than your average softail custom. The rims and the paint job, however, are what set this bike apart from any other Softail on the road. I have receipts from HD for over $5500 worth of HD certified work and custom parts installation on this bike, and it has been maintained with great record keeping in the HD system. The Odometer on the bike reads over 86,000 miles, however the title comes with an odometer exemption statement because the tank is from another bike. The actual mileage of the bike is right around 25,000 miles. I've just recently had the forks resealed, the oil changed, and the bike inspected to MODOT standards. There is a small chip in the paint on the rear left side from a less than friendly neighbor and his BB gun, sadly enough. I have had the area sealed up to avoid anymore paint flaking away or damage to the bike. Also, I have spoken to HD and a local body shop, both of whom have said that the area can be sanded, and repainted with the same color for less than $200. Other than that, the bike is both cosmetically and mechanically sound. If you have ANY questions at all, feel free to call or text Tyler at 217-NineSevenOne-0191. I would be happy to answer any and all questions as well as arrange a time for you to view the bike. It is a great bike, always has run smoothly. Will be sad to see it go. CASH ONLY. NO JOY RIDES UNLESS CASH IN HAND. YOU DROP IT YOU BUY IT. $8,700.00 2179710191

Warlord Harley-Davidson Saddlebag Trays By First Shot Cycle Parts

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

If you’re the type who likes to stay ultra-organized, even (especially?) while riding your Harley-Davidson bagger, you might want to look at these Warlord saddlebag trays from First Shot Cycle Parts. While the concept of saddlebag trays is nothing new, the Warlord tray is well thought out. Dividers keep all of your small items where you can find them and not buried in the saddlebag. Each tray is lined, comes with removable dividers and all mounting brackets.

Airhawk Introduces DS Comfort Seating System For Dual Sport Bikes, Bikes With Narrow Seats

Fri, 16 May 2014

Airhawk, Inc., has introduced the DS Comfort Seating System, a cushion designed specifically for motorcyclists who ride dual sport bikes or bikes with narrower seats. Features of the DS cushion include a narrow front to match the seat profile of most dual sport/adventure bikes and bikes with narrow seats.  A tapered-down front minimizes unwanted pressure on the scrotum, and a heavy-duty hold-down strap system ensures a secure fit to the bike.  The DS also works well with narrow customized or aftermarket seats that have been installed for the purpose of getting the rider lower to the ground.
