2011 Harley-Davidson Blackline , Blackline purchased new in May 2012. 7 months remain on factory warranty. Only 2144 miles. 103 kit, SE air intake, Supertrapp 2-1 exhaust, SE 255 cams, black cam cover, dynamometer tuned with SE race tuner. All work performed by Heritage Harley Davidson in Lisle, IL. Bike ridden by 46-year-old. Stored in heated garage. Never ridden in bad weather. Never dropped. Other features include a stainless steel (powdercoated black) rear splash guard- this replaces that cheap plastic splash guard that comes on all Softails which hides part of the rear wheel. Also included is an Anvil Customs swingarm bag, solo seat, and a battery tender (bike has pigtails installed for it). All the basics have been done to this bike, but nothing crazy. Lieutenant Scott Fear, Commander of the U.S. Park Police Motor Unit, led a dozen side car-equipped Electra Glides in a formation riding the heavily modified Trike, which was sourced by Harley-Davidson of Frederick.
Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011
Wed, 01 May 2013U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
