2009 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide ULTRA CLASSIC FLHTCUI, Bike is like new with only 3,038 miles and tons of options. My job and travel have precluded us from enjoying this beauty like we had planned and it's just not right to let such a fine machine sit idle. I have a climate controlled shop we keep it in and it shows absolutely no wear. The numerous options were dealer installed at purchase and include stage 2 high performance 103 upgrade, star pattern chrome fins on the jugs, vance and hines exhaust, full chrome controls, fork lowers, foot controls and many other decorative items. I wanted the screaming eagle, but none were available, so we installed the color matched inner fairing with new screaming eagle gauges. The cockpit is truly awesome. Total initial upgrades totaled 10,235.12 for a drive out deal at 33,334.00 before tax and title. I have added a few more trim pieces and have four windshields. My loss is your gain. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
Backflips on a Harley? [video]
Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.
