Harley-Davidson Other description

2007 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic , Bike is a 2007 HD Ultra Classic. Bought new in 2007 by seller. Very low miles (11,400). Bike has been well cared for, and gently ridden. Just haven't had the time to ride I once had. All services performed at dealer where it was bought, and I have the service paperwork. Dealer installed Stage 1 engine kit with Rinehart dual exhaust and Screaming Eagle race tuner (with box). Standard security system with proximity key fobs (no audible alarm). Standard HD audio system with CD player, MP3 plug-in port, Intercom, and CB. Cruise Control and 6-speed transmission. Added highway pegs, luggage rack, handgrips, passenger footboard chrome, windshield chrome, and dash pouches. Tires are basically new, and should be good to 20,000(ish) miles. Will include the backrest (pictured) and HD dustcover. The bike is clear, and I hold the title. $15,000.00 9162079251

Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.

Harley-Davidson Helps America Avoid Further Father’s Day Flubs

Fri, 30 May 2014

While Father’s Day is meant to celebrate fatherhood and family, new data shows most American dads aren’t feeling the love. The survey, commissioned by Harley-Davidson, interviewed more than 1,200 American dads about their Father’s Day gifts and experiences. The findings are clear that not all dads get their due on their day.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
