2001 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, 2 older owners. I bought from first owner in '03 with 1900 miles. 5000 miles in the last 10 years I have owned. Very close to showroom condition. Very visible chrome yellow color .Always garaged and never in rain. Lots of tasteful Harley chrome, Vance and Hines Longshots, HD padded sissy bar (not shown), K&N air filter, factory alarm. This is a very strong running bike. Turn the key and go....needs nothing. Fresh oil and chrome filter change. I'm getting older and don't ride it anymore. Keanu Reeves Starts Arch Motorcycle Company – Production to Begin in 2013
Fri, 05 Oct 2012Actor Keanu Reeves is getting into the motorcycle business, starting up the Arch Motorcycle Company with Gard Hollinger of L.A. County Choprods. The new company will build motorcycles based on the KR GT-1 prototype pictured above, with production set to begin in 2013.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
