Harley-Davidson Other description

1999 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail CLASSIC, For Sale: 1999 Heritage Softail Classic. This is the last year of the big twin evolution powered models. Has 34,000 miles on it. Stage 1 kit installed by local shop last July. All fluids changed at that time as well - Have receipts for all. Why I'm selling for low price - End of last summer, developed small oil leak on front tappet block. Needs some work on the tappets and cam bearing. Quoted roughly $1000 parts and labor to fix by local shop. Have not ran the bike since to avoid destructive failure. Even with repair costs, Still getting the best deal around on a great, low mileage motorcycle. Prefer local, face to face sale only. $5,500.00

Harley-Davidson Christmas Commercial

Fri, 19 Dec 2008

Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.

Top 10 Album Covers featuring Motorcycles

1 of 11Next Last   Motorcycles and rock ‘n’ roll. Ever since The King threw his leg over his ’56 Harley-Davidson and the Black Rebels rolled into Carbonville, the combination of motorcycles and rock have been as combustible as gas and spark. Early moto-rock lived for the most part on the fringes of pop music, in the pomped-up rockabilly of guys like Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent.
