1974 Harley Davidson FX Shovelhead
Purchased in 1996. Bike rebuilt in 2003. Engine rebuilt, now has 3,500 miles on it. Andrews C Grind Cam and S&S Carberator and Fatbob gas tanks installed. Also changed to 21 inch front wheel and a more modern rear brake was added. Progressive rear shocks and progressive spring kit in the front forks. Chrome wheels with polished stainless steel spokes. Belt drive primary. It is electric and kick start. Lots of chrome, all painted surfaces are custom powder coated. Garage kept and well maintained. This motorcycle has never been in an accident and title is in hand. Buyer to pick up or arrange for transportation. Payment prior to pick up. Cash in hand or certified check. AMA Ice Racing Grand Championship Adds Ice Moto Competition

Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.
Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
