Presented for auction is a very nice (not pristine) 1968 Electraglide with low miles. Bike starts/runs/rides well with no issues. New battery/plugs/oil change. Motorcycle has had a professional re-paint in original colors (sparkling burgandy/black wrinkle panel/white pinstripes), new Harley wide whites, and a cosmetic resto that includes nos wiring harness. Has the original HD keys and original Tillotson carb. This bike will make the new owner a great rider and attention getter whereever ridden. Shiny chrome (no flaking). All electrical works as it should. This bike belongs to a good friend from Dayton that is not computer literate. All questions will be forwarded to him as well as phone numbers. Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.

Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
