1966 FLH Harley Davidson Shovelhead Electra Glide
All matching bike, everything on this bike is 1966, except for a few bolt on items. It's a rider....Everything works!....yes even the electric start. This is a very cool period correct bike. The gentleman I bought it from had it since 1980. (36 years). It starts, runs, shifts, and stops. Motor was rebuilt by Departure bike works in Richmond Va about 5 years ago, bike has sat for awhile. Bike has a lot of factory hard to find parts on it. Look at photos carefully and make you own decision, I am no expert. Belly #s match and vin # matches title. Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.

Fri, 28 May 2010IT'S 35 YEARS since Evel Knievel attempted to jump 13 London buses at Wembley Stadium. Riding a heavy, slow Harley-Davidson XR750, the American daredevil had serious reservations about the jump, admitting the take-off ramp was too short, therefore limiting the bike's speed. But even though the plucky American knew his chances of pulling off the stunt were slim, he was reluctant to disappoint the 80,000-strong Wembley crowd.
