1963 Harley panhead chopper. Oem 63 motor and transmission, sitting in a original unraked neck 48 wishbone frame. Matching belly numbers. Nice unaltered VIN.  8" over extended factory Harley knuckle head springer with well aged chrome. Chromed brass Flanders dog bone risers. Flanders bars. 21" star hub front wheel with 2.75 x 21" speedmaster. 16" star hub rear with real nice Coker tire. Primary belt drive with fresh clutch fibers. Original bates solo seat. Paint is like a midnight blue. Paint has cracks and chips but looks pretty good. Runs, rides, shifts and stops like it should. Lots of great vintage parts on this bike, some hard to find stuff.

The study measures the overall satisfaction of motorcyclists with their new helmet in three key factors: ventilation, face shield, and design and styling; which consist of 11 attributes: quietness; ventilation/air flow; de-fogging; face shield ability to keep wind out; face shield ability to resist scratching; ease of replacing face shield; scratch resistance of shell; color/graphic design; weight; ease of fastening the strap; and fit and comfort.

Harley-Davidson Museum Showing Living Lost Photographs by Josh Kurpius

The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit featuring photographs from custom builder and artist Josh Kurpius. Opening Jan. 17, the Living Lost Photographs by Josh Kurpius art exhibit includes 30 photographs taken during a series of road trips Kurpius took with friends, all riding vintage Harleys.

Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada

A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.
