This motorcycle is very clean.  There is no paint or chrome on the engine or trans, they are  stock.  When not in use, it is stored off ground on a frame lift. The motor starts and shifts as it should. It has stock clutch & stock gear ratio.  The motorcycle sits low but does not bottom out when loaded up.  All lights work. All maintenance and adjustments are current.  The following upgrades have been made:

  • 73 Harley Davidson swing arm & disk, lower legs & disk
  • 76 Harley Davidson rocker boxes & wiring, directional flashers & horn 
  • 12 Volt wiring
  • Mallary electronic distributor timed & set
  • Dunlop radial tires

Not everyone can pull off a tattoo, I know I can’t.  Or maybe I’m just too scared to ink up my entire arm for the rest of my life, sporting a faded and stretched color blotch when I’m 75 with my grand kids trying to guess what it once was. Well Harley-Davidson has a solution for me (and maybe you!) Fake it! Harley-Davidson’s new clothing line has been designed by “Tattoo Masters” to give you that authentic tattoo look, but on a shirt.

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.

Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350

The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
