Harley-Davidson Other description

For sale is a very rare, single cylinder Harley Davidson Model B.  It is a 350cc flathead engine and was produced in relatively low numbers, built in Milwaukee and usually exported to Europe or South America as a utility motorcycle where few survived.  I acquired the motorcycle in 2011 where is set  in a garage loft for over 40 years after making its way back to the States.  The bike was found complete with the exception of headlights, tail light, exhaust and carburetor.  I fitted a carb the engine fired up immediately..

Although found complete and very solid, it did have its share of dents and a purple paint job.  The tanks and fenders were easily repaired by a professional and are original parts.  The frame, forks, headlight bracket, dash and primary cover are original too. I received the bike with Dunlop Wheels which I left on.

In order to complete the bike I purchased: headlights, tail light, kickstand, Dellorto carb, dash switches and exhaust.  The battery box and rear stand were fabricated.  I retained the tires that I found it with, they are probably from the 50's.  1 Firestone Phoenix and 1 Continental.  They will need replacement before riding.  I have ridden the bike and it runs and shifts well.

There are a few imperfections in the finishes. the main 2 are one dime sized bubble on the top/left of the gas tank.  The right side of the front fender waffled a little bit after refitting the wheel stand when it came back from paint.

please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer.  I can also get any photos you may need more detail on.

A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750

Thu, 29 Jan 2015

This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.

Motorcycle Stirrups – Yes, They Exist!

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What do you get when a lifelong horse rider and motorcyclist from Nebraska gets inspired to combine his two loves? Why, motorcycle stirrups, of course! The idea came to Devin Santana, proprietor of Nebraska City Iron Works, one day when he was riding his Harley-Davidson down the road and looked down at his feet.
