Harley-Davidson Dyna description

2012 Dyna Wide Glide, 2,700 miles. The bike has had 1000k service and all oils changed to HD S3 synthetic, new plugs and air filter. The bike comes with Quick detachable windshield- has small horizontal crack on the middle left outer edge probably 1/4" in length. New Danny Grey Buttcrak seat and passenger pillion, 1940's style handgrips also have new oem stock grips still in the box. Quick detachable leather saddlebags, with rear rack and backrest also quick detachable. Located on the front handlbars is a HD leather case with Harley- Davidson Multitool. Sreamin Eagle tuner with all cables is included, factory shop manual and factory Dyna handbook. Also comes with Rush slip on mufflers 3" with baffles. HD digital dip stick.

Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain

THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.

Contemporary Artist Derek Kinzett is based out of the U.K. and works with wire to create some stunning sculptures. I cant imagine how long it must have taken to make this Harley-Davidson replica but I am sure he is well compensated.  Kinzett has even been commissioned by Nicolas Cage, hopefully he received his payment before Cage’s IRS bill came in…

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
