This particular Dyna Wide Glide is absolutely beautiful and loaded with the most popular options! The metallic blue flame with factory flames is stunning! It really sparkles and reflects the sunlight. The heavy duty saddlebags look great on this bike. The blacked out passenger backrest and luggage rack really adds to the great looks of this Dyna, as well as being very functional. The after market pipes sound fantastic! They really give it the big bike sound that it deserves. Both tires are in great shape with thousands of miles of tread left. 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Champion Chris Fillmore
Tue, 06 Sep 2011Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
2011 Indy Mile Cancelled
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.
