Up for bid is a 2001 Harley-Davidson Dyna Superglide Sport FXDX. M/C is owned by a factory trained H-D mechanic. Bike was taken out of the crate, brought home and had big bore cylinder and pistons installed. Engine is now 95 cubic inches. M/C has a S&S Super G carb installed, also stock exhaust has been opened up so engine can breath better. Handlebar wiring is hidden inside custom bars. Braided steel brake lines front and rear. Brand new tires front and rear. Brand new H-D AGM battery. Mileage is 9069. One owner, excellent cared for m/c. IT'S 35 YEARS since Evel Knievel attempted to jump 13 London buses at Wembley Stadium. Riding a heavy, slow Harley-Davidson XR750, the American daredevil had serious reservations about the jump, admitting the take-off ramp was too short, therefore limiting the bike's speed. But even though the plucky American knew his chances of pulling off the stunt were slim, he was reluctant to disappoint the 80,000-strong Wembley crowd.

Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
