The designers at H-D came up with a great styling package for the venerable Softail chassis. We really like the drag bike styling lines on the Breakout. A great looking package with excellent ride qualities. This 2013 Breakout has only 1725 miles on from new and is in excellent condition. There have been no modifications to this motorcycle as it still has all of the original OEM equipment including the exhaust. The red paint and finish on this motorcycle is beautiful. It garners more compliments and comments than any other bike on our showroom floor. Even the hard core sport bike crowd give it a look. Designed with Dunlop’s MT Multi-Tread technology, with a long-wearing center compound and grippier compounds on each edge, the new American Elite’s should pique the interest of Harley FL owners. The second-gen series of American Elites are also now available with narrow white bar sidewalls and wide white walls along with the original black sidewall, providing FL owners more choices. For riders of Harley-Davidson FL Touring bikes, model year 2009 and later, the new second-generation American Elite tires with Multi-Tread are available in 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 black sidewall, 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 narrow white sidewall, 130/90B16 and 180/65B16 wide white sidewall, with the 130/70B18 front tire available for select CVO bikes. Eric Bostrom to Race TTXGP for Brammo at Laguna Seca
Thu, 26 Jul 2012Eric Bostrom has signed on to ride the Brammo Empulse RR in the electric motorcycle race at Laguna Seca July 28-29. The race is the final stop on the TTXGP‘s North American series and a joint event with the FIM’s ePower series. The AMA racing veteran will join Steve Atlas to represent Team Icon Brammo at Laguna Seca.
Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
