2008 Ducati Superbike 1098 S, Up for sale is a 2008 Ducati 1098s (Sport edition). This Motorcycle has been taken better care of than a newborn baby. The body is in excellent condition and the engine is strong and crisp as the day it was purchased. Bought new from Duc Pond Motorsports all service records are up to date and done professionally by Duc Pond themselves. It currently has 7K miles and a few after market parts including a single side stand, Corsa Diablo tires, set Ohlins suspension, a Puig double bubble window and hidden taillights in the upper louvers of the tail section shown below. Fri, 28 Oct 2011As the new 1199 Panigale is to become Ducati’s flagship superbike, Radical has put together a special bodykit for the out-going machine that boasts improved power and less weight. Named Vendetta, the kit is a collaboration between the Radical tuning company and designers Dragon TT, transforming the existing bike into a more aggressive design. Available for the 848/1098/1198, the Vendetta kit is made of either carbon or glass fibre and consists of: front fairing with 2 high beam and 2 low beam ellipsoidal lights , windscreen, aluminum front bracket, sidepanels with incorporated indicators, bellypan, fuel tank, air funnels, single seat with incorporated leds rear light, seat under-tray and silencer adaptors Now more narrow and compact, they claim the advantages the bodykit have over the original Ducati design is more capacity in the fuel tank, improved airflow, less weight and better engine cooling.

Sun, 03 Apr 2011So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster). The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
