This is a great bike that has had a few appreciative owners. Don't worry this girl has been well cared for. In the last 2 weeks and 50 miles the oil, brake/clutch fluid, and belts have been changed. When the Tech changed the belts he went over the bike and feels it needs nothing. I've had it for the last 18 months and I've ridden it about 1500 care free miles. This girl is ready to ride, needs nothing. I bought this bike almost two years ago, I planned to keep it for a while but I recently lost my storage so I should sell a few bikes. Nicky Hayden Signs Contract Extension with Ducati
Fri, 27 Jul 2012Ducati has signed Nicky Hayden to a one-year contract extension, retaining the Kentucky native for the 2013 MotoGP season. Hayden, who turns 31 on July 31, has raced for Ducati‘s factory team since 2009. During this period, Hayden has been somewhat overshadowed by his teammates, first by Casey Stoner and now Valentino Rossi.
Ducati 1199 Panigale On The Dyno
Mon, 23 Jan 2012Italian magazine Motociclismo is one of the largest and most influential motorcycle publications in all of Europe, and they’ve captured this clip of a Ducati test rider running the new 1199 Panigale on the dyno. Rider wearing full gear aside (he even flips down his faceshield!), what sticks out to me is how quickly the new Superquadro engine accelerates through its rev range. I was also impressed at the length it took before the rev limiter was reached.
