2015 Ducati Scrambler on 2040-motos
Ducati Scrambler tech info
Ducati Scrambler description
The Scrambler Full Throttle version is inspired by the flat track world and makes clear references to the bikes that race around dirt ovals. It is equipped with a Termignoni racing exhaust homologated for road use, a seat designed for racing and black side panels with dedicated graphics. The low tapered handlebar and the short front mudguard add to the distinctive features of the Scrambler Full Throttle, destined for those who want a bike perfect for every-day use but without compromising on racing style. In Deep Black.
Gorgeous bike, purchased less than a year ago. Used on dirt roads and some mud and was amazingly fun to ride. Bike is flawless with no damage, no falls or accidents. Bike has a brand new rear tire due to puncture of used one and ran about 150 miles on it. Comes with additional hard/soft cases that are original Ducati Equipment and the frame. Was dealer installed and cost over $1200 - Ducati not offering these superb bags anymore. Both come with locks on zippers, 2 keys to mount/unmount and 2 rain covers. Also comes with a "Giant Loop" Handlebar bag in black. Bike is truly exceptional. Don't want to sell but bought another bike and can't keep both so as painful as it was I am parting with it. I have picks of use on dirt and mud and can send prior to sale. Go riding with a group of BMW 1200GS owners and I always ride over them because this bike is so light, so responsive and has so much torque especially on the low end. SO much fun, the equivalent of a Kart on 2 wheels. 1st and 2nd Services done. Next Service at 7500 miles - warranty comes with road side assistance from Ducati Engine L-twin, Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder Horsepower 75 hp (55 kW) @ 8,250 rpm Displacement 803 cc Bore x Stroke 88 x 66 mm Torque 50 ft. lbs. How do 1000s compare to the 800s
Wed, 09 Nov 2011Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.
