Max Biaggi Testing the Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

Max Biaggi has completed his first day of testing on Ben Spies‘ Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at Italy’s Mugello circuit. No lap times were released so we don’t know how the recently retired two-time World Superbike Champion fared compared to the lap times posted by MotoGP racers at the same track at last weekend’s Italian Grand Prix. What do have are these images of Biaggi on a GP racebike for the first time since 2005 when he raced for Honda.

Vyrus principal Ascanio Rodorigo, a former Bimota employee, began producing his version of the Tesi after Bimota let its patents expire while it was in bankruptcy.

They used what time they did have to work on the Ducati Desmosedici GP12‘s electronics including new traction control software.
