Ducati Other tech info
Ducati Other description
Relisting my bike as the would-be buyers check never arrived.
When I purchased this bike in was in very rough shape. It had been a racer and was fitted with the 350cc engine. I took the bike to Ducati restorer Ted Henry in California for a complete restoration. I elected to keep the 350cc engine as it looked exactly like the 250. It was converted to a 12 volt system. Everything works, including the lights, switches, key and indicators I rode the bike for just a few miles, then put it on display in my living room for the last 3 years. I just tried charging the battery, but it would not take a charge. It will need a new one. It looks like this bike stared out as a 250 GT. Over the years it was tinkered with and modified. I elected to restore it as a Diana. The 350cc engine has great torque and really moves the bike along. Personally, I believe these bikes are the most beautiful motorcycles ever built. This one belongs in someone's collection. I have spent a great deal of time and money restoring this bike, so if it does not sell here on Ebay it will go to the Vintage and Antique Motorcycle Auction in Las Vegas on January 25th. Good luck bidding. On Sep-11-16 at 17:14:27 PDT, seller added the following information:

The Diavel rocks!
Thu, 21 Jul 2011The Diavel is my new bike of the year. Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.
