Ducati Multistrada description

Hello,

Thank you for looking at my 2013 Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak!  As you can tell by the pictures, the bike is extremely clean and properly cared for. Clay-barred, polished and sealed with Chemical Guys Jet Seal. I have service papers for all work, which was done by Life Cycle of Kalamazoo, MI. It is up to date on recalls and has not had any warranty issues.  The bike has never been dropped or down and honestly you'd have a hard time noticing it is even a used bike.  It is still under factory warranty through July of 2016, I bought the bike as a showroom leftover in July of 2014.  I have exclusively ran Amsoil 10w40 in the bike and even had that put in at the break in service.  During winter, it has been stored on stands and hooked up to a battery tender to keep the battery fresh.  Also, I never stored it without having a full tank of ethanol free fuel and stabil.  Overall, the bike has never skipped a beat for me, but I just like to try something different every couple years.

Extras that I have put on the bike:
Arrow mid-pipe  (shown in picture)
Akrapovic Slip-on  (this combo sounds fantastic, not overbearing on long rides)
EvoTech Performance Radiator Guard
EvoTech Performance Oil Cooler Guard
EvoTech Performance Cylinder Head Guard
EvoTech Performance Tail Tidy
Clear Alternatives Blaster X LED Integrated Tail Light
Tech Spec C3 Tank pads
Givi Tanklock for Givi Tank Bags, very handy and keeps the finish safe.

Just these items above approach $2,000 new.

I have both keys for the bike and all manuals.

All stock parts have been kept.  Yes, I do have the touring windscreen and black plastic rear mud guard as the Pikes Peak came with a Carbon Fiber Flyscreen and Carbon Fiber rear mud guard as are shown installed in the photos.

Tires are currently Pirelli Angel GT's front and rear with about 1,500 miles on them, phenomenal tires!!

I also have Ducati Factory Hard Side Cases in the Matte Silver color which will come with the bike for the BIN price, used 4 times for weekend trips.
Also, CRG Arrow bar end mirrors for an extra $100 and are currently on the bike. Otherwise stock mirrors come on the bike.

My price is negotiable but I'm not in a hurry to get rid of the bike.  Please, no lowball offers.  Cash talks.

I can transport up to 200 miles with a deposit and proof of cash or cashier's check.

Title is currently held by a local credit union.

I do have the bike listed on other sites and reserve the right to end the sale early.

Will the road-going RCV look like this?

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming.  Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?

848 Challenge Misano official race report

Sun, 01 Jul 2012

From Ducati: Robbie Brown tightened his grip on the Ducati 848 Challenge championship with a maximum points haul from both races at Misano World Circuit, Italy. A win in Race 1 and second behind non-points scoring rider Chris Northover, was enough to open up a 53-point lead at the top of the table. With the round taking place during the famous World Ducati Week, which this year attracted a record crowd of 65,000, and in baking-hot 40 degree temperatures, the weekend was a proper test for the riders and teams.
