Up for sale is my 2013 Pikes Peak edition Multistrada 1200s. This is the top of the line Multistrada, loaded with features and carbon fiber goodies. It is in mint condition with only 4733 miles on the clock, and it has never been dropped or scratched in any way - she looks and runs like new. Mostly stock condition with very minor modifications, including tail tidy and integrated Hyperlites LED brake light system, . Luggage includes tank mounted Givi 15 liter tank bag as well as Ducati OEM panniers with bag liners - allows for easy transportation of gear with out removing panniers. Left pannier will hold a full face helmet. Heated handgrips keeps you warm on cold mornings.  Comes with all stock parts, tall windscreen, all standard accessories originally delivered with the bike, all keys, plus all paperwork. Clean title in hand.

Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.

Massimo Tamburini: 1943 – 2014

Massimo Tamburini, creator of some of the industry’s most iconic motorcycle designs, has succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70. Tamburini was diagnosed with the disease last November and underwent chemotherapy treatment but passed away April 6. Earning renown for designing motorcycles such as the Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4, Tamburini’s name will be forever linked with those two companies, as well as Cagiva and helped found Bimota (Tamburini is the “Ta” in the company’s name.) Audi-Ducati Discussions No Longer Exclusive

Audi‘s window for exclusive negotiation rights with Ducati has closed, but the German automaker is still expected to announce the acquisition of the Italian motorcycle brand this week. Volkswagen-owned Audi had exclusive rights to discuss acquiring Ducati until April 15, and though other suitors may now begin negotiations, Audi remains the front-runner. Last week, Reuters reported a deal could be announced as soon as April 18, the day before the Volkswagen Group’s annual shareholder meeting.
