Ducati Multistrada description

2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S TOURING, 2010 Multistrada S Touring Breaks my heart but I've decided to sell my baby -- the very best streetbike I've ever owned, or could possibly imagine. This bike has been absolutely BRILLIANT in every way, mile after mile. * Purchased new in early 2011 from MotoCorsa in Portland * All warranty service completed by MotoCorsa * Regularly maintained, with full synthetic oil changes (more frequently than required by owner's manual) * 13,417 miles * MRA Vario Touring Windscreen * Kaoko Throttle Lock * Stebel Nautilus Horn with Wiring Harness * Near-new Pirelli Angel GT Tires (installed in August) * Ducati Hard Cases * Outstanding condition, cosmetically and mechanically This bike has had one mature adult owner, a highly experienced rider. It has never been dropped or crashed. It has one small scuff on the right front fairing where it rubbed against my other bike during transport. Arun and A.J. at MotoCorsa know me and the bike well, and I'm sure they'd be happy to vouch for how well I care for my bikes. I also have various tail bags and tank bags that we could work into a deal if the buyer is interested. This bike has taken me on many spectacular and memorable rides, as I'm sure it will do for its fortunate new owner. Please contact me with any serious offers or questions. NO TRADES OR LOWBALLS. Buyer to make arrangements for pickup or shipping (bike is in Idaho near Boise). If buyer is regional, I may be able to assist with delivery if the price is right. $14,350.00

Open Letter from Ducati CEO About Italian Earthquakes

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio has released an open letter addressing the recent earthquakes in Italy, and how they have affected the company. The Emilia region in northern Italy was hit by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake on May 20 and has continued to suffer from aftershocks including a second earthquake on May 29 that briefly halted production at Ducati‘s Bologna factory. In the letter, del Torchio writes about those who have lost their homes in the disasters and expresses thanks for fundraising efforts to help those in need.

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

Wood-Rotax SJ676 Grand Prix

Until yesterday I'd never even heard of this bike let alone seen one. I didn't know anything about it. I still don't, really but I dug up these words on the bike and thought I'd share them.
