2015 Ducati Scrambler Spied + Video

Just days after Ducati officially confirmed it will introduce its new Scrambler this fall comes a spy video of the new bike undergoing some regulatory testing at Ducati’s Bologna factory. Filmed by spy image agency BMH Images, the video provides a fairly good glimpse of the Scrambler, albeit with all sorts of testing equipment and at times a large aluminum shroud (listen to it scrape the ground at the 16 and 43-second marks). Casey Stoner's trick kart

The other day Casey Stoner tweeted this shot of this factory looking kart, which the reigning champion has been customising during the MotoGP downtime between Qatar and Jerez. Stoner became hooked on karting after taking part in the ice-race at the Ducati/Ferrari Vrooom event in 2009, beating F1 driver Felipe Massa in the process. Not only a hobby, Casey uses karting for training, as the Australian says there are physical benefits as well as to his reflexes.

We’re just days away from the start of the 2014 MotoGP season and one would think it’s a little late for series organizers to make any significant rule changes. At least, one would think that if one were unfamiliar with the political back-and-forths going on between the major manufacturers and MotoGP promoter Dorna. But with the season-opening Qatar round about to begin, the Grand Prix Commission approved new rules establishing a compromise between the new Factory and Open options.
