I've added more photos and more details and NO RESERVE! 1978 Ducati 900GTS Frame #854652 Engine #854765 Here is your chance to own a preserved original condition 4000 mile Square Case Bevel Head Ducati at a reasonable price. This 900GTS is 1 out of 300 bikes produced in 1978 and only 80 of them went to the US market.. I purchase this bike from the 2nd owner who is a dear friend a few years back. He owned the bike since 1979 or 1980 and held it in his collection since i purchased it. It has been well cared for and has only 4065 miles on the clock. The miles are true and correct. It has its original black paint with silver stripes. The paint is in fantastic condition and has only very light crackling in it if you look very closely in sunlight due to its age.. The patina is true and honest.. Recently serviced which includes rebuilt carbs, fuel tank clean and inspected, oil change, new battery..This bike runs perfectly and purrs like a kitten . The only non original part on it are the K&N low handle bars which the pervious owner switch out..I will provide its original factory handle bars in with sale. The original headers were black chromed back in early 80's to match color of handle bars. Factory and original LaFranconi exhaust and no dings!!All switches and lights work as they should. The Pirelli Phantom tires are in great shape. Still has factory side stand and center stand still intact and in perfect condition. Factory electric start and also kick start. Both working perfectly. This bike was purchased new from Ghost Motorcycles Dealer in Long Island, NY and still has dealer sticker on rear fender. The dealer is no longer in business. It just so happens that I personally know the old owners and they verified the dealer sticker on rear fender to be true and accurate. They also gave me a old business card which I will include in sale. What more can i say, the bike is still new with very low miles. Ducati North America Sets New Monthly Sales Record
Mon, 04 Jun 2012Ducati North America set a new monthly sales record selling 1,782 motorcycles in May, easily surpassing its previous record of 1,394 units sold set in June 2008. Helping drive sales was the introduction of the new 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale and the Streetfighter 848 last month. The two new models helped Ducati North America see a 49% year-on-year sales increase for the month.

Wed, 14 Aug 2013The Dainese/AGV D-store in the Vendors Marketplace garages at the Indianapolis MotoGP is hosting a Q&A session with 2006 MotoGP World Champion, Nicky Haden, this Friday at 4:15 PM. Earlier Friday morning at the Pramac Ducati garage Dainese/AGV will unveil the custom Pista GP helmet, selected by Andrea Iannone, from hundreds of fan-submitted designs, to be used for the Indianapolis race weekend. Other events and signings will take place at the D-store which is open Friday 10 a.m.
Stoner Tops Day One of Sepang Test – Video
Tue, 28 Feb 2012It’s been about a month since Casey Stoner last tested the Honda RC213V racebike at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit but the defending World Champion remains the man to beat, setting the fastest lap at the first day of MotoGP’s February Sepang test. Heavy rain limited teams’ testing and Stoner only completed 16 laps but still managed to set a time of 2:01.761. Stoner was the only rider to lap under 2:02, though his Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa came close with a time of 2:02.005 while completing 36 laps.
