Chopper Chopper description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction!

....little bit of a history about this bad a$$ chopper trike. It was built in 2010 by Angelina Customs out of Huntington, TX. They are still operational and advertise regularly in Trikers magazine. Before I purchased it directly from the owner/builder, the trike served as a riding "show trike" for the shop and was at every major rally in Texas. Needless to say, the trike was built right with every intention to provide comfortable, safe and ultimate riding experience while kicking some serious a$$ and dropping jaws. It does not matter who you ride with, everyone (I literally mean everyone) wants to take a picture/film this ride...people would slow down/speed up on the road just to take a look or picture.....I know it's about riding, but it does not hurt to be a center of attention from time to time.....

Ok, some of the features of this beast:

- Built in 2010 to ride and show
- !!!Low Mileage!!! only 4,000 miles on the build. I purchased it when it had only 2,700 miles and put over 1,300 miles already (and increasing....). Please note that this is an approximate as the speedo/GPS was reset when I bought it.
- 100% street legal, inspected, tagged, insured with clean/clear Texas title (as 2010 Chopper Trike)
- Powered by 1915cc high perform vw engine
It performs great in winter (30F) or in Texas summer (+100F)
- 4 speed transmission with reverse (shifts smooth, and as it should)
- Custom forward controls
- No indicator lights, but horn, headlights and brake lights work as they should
- Garmin GPS speedo

In the last year, the following upgrades were done to improve the performance, safety and overall riding experience:
- New Spark Plugs
- New Battery
- Flushed both Brake and Clutch system and put fresh DOT5 fluid
- New Electronic Ignition
- New Weber Carburetor jetted properly
- New throttle cable and rebuilt throttle assembly
- New wiring
- New  slave cylinder
- New shocks (I felt that with two riders the trike sit too low, so I upgraded the shocks...now you will not drag your "tail" on the road if you have a passenger)
- New fan strap
- New fan belt pulley
- Spare exhaust system (one exhaust pipe was replaced)
- Oil changed every 3 months

The trike has some minor scratches from riding and also little rust on the front springer and wheel hubs. Also, the leather seats are in good shape, but they have some discoloration.  With that being said, if you wanted it to be a show trike, you will need very minimum to accomplish that. I may be forgetting something....but you get the picture. I have made a video of walk-around and riding, please see below (since I cannot post the link please see below):

I absolutely LOVE this trike, and ride it all the time. The only reason why I am putting it up for sale is my desire to purchase a hot rod, and I cannot have both (I do not have a space). I believe that my starting price is only fair from what I have seen here and anywhere else, and it is your chance to own something that nobody has, one of its kind for fraction of its cost! You are welcome to come and take a look, inspect it, sit on it etc. but I will need collateral if you want to test ride it.

For the legal "stuff", I reserve the right to end this auction at any time for any reason as I have listed it locally. It is always parked in my garage so I can store it for you for any reasonable amount of time and will work with your shipper if you need to ship it; however, all shipping costs and arrangements are buyers' responsibility. It will be sold as is with no warranty implied or guaranteed. I require $250.00 non-refundable deposit at the end of an auction, and the rest to be paid either cash, wire transfer, certified check or money order. The trike and title will not leave until all funds have been cleared.

For any questions, offers, inspections etc., please call or text at 281 six8six 5005, all communication through E-Bay is encouraged. Thank you and good luck, Martin

Ariel Chopper on eBay

Mon, 24 Nov 2008

Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.

Resident Evil Inspired Chopper

Mon, 07 Dec 2009

Capcom, the creator of the popular video game series “Resident Evil”, has teamed up with Savage Cycles out of Maryland, to create this zombie killer custom chopper.  The project is scheduled to be completed in January, the limited bikes to be built has no price tag at this point but I am sure it will be steep. Check out some preview shots and a list of some interesting features. From the Capcom blog: The bike is low-slung and mean, armored but fast, with quick access to a number of “weapons” and items, such as an airsoft shotgun and pistol, “health sprays” and a combat knife strapped to the front fork.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt.
