Rourke's character in Harley Davidson and Marlboro Man Movie. Mickey Rourke commissioned Black Death Motorcycles and Carefree Custom Cycles to build the most authentic re-creation of this two wheeled piece of cinematic history. Then Death Row Motorcycles decide to produce a few replica's of Mickey's vision. Black Death started with an FXR frame of its own design and went from there. The frame was boxed and molded to clean it up, and the steering neck was raked out to an angle that Black Death refuses to disclose. You'll have to take your own measurements to figure out that little trade secret, but the solid struts that replaced the shocks, the natural metal finish, and graphics, are just as they appeared on screen. Fri, 09 Oct 2009The OCC Band, which is composed of Orange County Choppers co-workers, will be featured in this classic rock compilation CD that was curated by Paul Teutul Sr. One of the songs listed on the track list, “Summertime Blues”, will feature Paul Sr. on vocals. The CD will also feature Judas Priest, Ted Nugent, Blue Oyster Cult and many more… New episodes of American Chopper will start on Thursday, October 22nd at 9PM on TLC, but it will be in the second show of the season on October 29th that will focus on the making of the album and the building of the custom bike that appears on the CD cover. New Stuff: Weise Street Fight Glove
Tue, 12 Apr 2011Summer is coming and we are all planning on getting some aviator-wearing-open-faced-chopper miles in this year. Needless to say race gloves aren’t quite going to fit the bill so Weise have sent in a pair of their Street Fight Gloves. They are light weight and flexible thanks to the stretch panels but do feature double layers of leather in key areas around the palms and fingers.
Las Vegas Premier Motorcycle Auction Nets $4.1 Million
Tue, 17 Jan 2012Buyers spent $4.1 million on rare motorcycles at the inaugural Las Vegas Premier Motorcycle Auction by Auctions America. The auction, held Jan. 12-14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, featured 490 motorcycles and other memorabilia.
